Romario Lela is a Christian pop artist and singer-songwriter from Webster, Massachusetts, creating music rooted in personal encounter rather than performance. His songs are written for real life—designed to bring peace to anxious hearts, comfort to the hurting, and hope to those walking through difficult seasons. At the center of his music is a consistent message: God sees you, God loves you, and God still saves.

Raised in a Cape Verdean household filled with music, Romario grew up surrounded by melody. His mother, a gifted singer, played a formative role in shaping his early connection to music. While music was always present, it wasn’t until 2020—during a season of spiritual struggle—that songwriting became deeply personal. When traditional spiritual disciplines felt overwhelming, writing songs became a pathway back to peace and closeness with God. That season marked a turning point, transforming music from a talent into a calling.

As his artistry developed, Romario felt called not only to write songs, but to build community. Out of that conviction, he founded Kingdom Musician, a platform and community created to support and equip independent Christian artists. Through collaboration, encouragement, and shared growth, Kingdom Musician exists to help artists develop their gifts with excellence while staying rooted in faith and purpose.

Romario is also a founding member of Heralds of Freedom, a five-man vocal group he has helped lead for over five years. More than a musical project, Heralds of Freedom is a ministry that plays a central role in his spiritual life. Through harmony, fellowship, and shared mission, the group creates music that ministers to audiences while continually sharpening Romario’s own walk with God. What began as a passion has become one of the most life-giving expressions of his faith.

Influenced by contemporary Christian artists known for honest storytelling and congregational impact, Romario creates modern Christian pop that is sincere, approachable, and grounded in gospel truth.
